2011-2012 Calendar for BOTH campuses
*Our program is a 36 week school year with four additional weeks over the summer totaling 40 weeks. We go to school more than public schools which assures a progressive program.
Sonhaven Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am – 1:30 pm.
All classes at Sonhaven Preparatory Academy are multi-graded. Classes are year-round. There are field trips to challenge learning and parents love to participate. The first semester is August-December. The second semester is January-May. There is a four week break and then a five-week (four days a week) summer “bridge” so minds do not grow stale. A student is required to attend at least 12 days during the summer. A high school student and new incoming student must attend all five weeks (20 days).
We want you to feel His rest at Sonhaven. Children are taught creatively. We are constantly reviewing and renewing our teaching methods so learning does not grow stale.
We would love to share with you the Sonhaven experience. Kindergarten-Grade 12 school is year-round. First semester is August-December. Second semester is January to May. There is a one month break then summer session for half of June and half of July. Minds do not grow stale at Sonhaven.
